Enhance your journey with MGLA
When we engage with you, we first want to understand how you currently work; your norms, culture, processes, practices, artifacts, org structure, etc.. From that 2 to 4 week assessment, we will share back to you our findings and recommendations on how best to proceed.
We use lean-change, design thinking and kanban principles for how we work with you. Design thinking means we take a human-centered and empathetic approach to your learning, so we begin your journey from where you are at. Kanban principles encourage visualizing your work, but not changing anything to start. Rather, it’s through visualizing your work where you are able to see opportunities to improve. Changing the way you think and work can be difficult for some, so we come to where you’re at and guide you along the way.
We also believe that, while change needs to be led and managed, it only works if the system getting changed accepts it. Therefore, our approach is to embed into existing teams and assist them with delivering on their objectives while incrementally adopting or refining their use of frameworks and practices to do the work.
That isn’t to say that there won’t be any interruption. One message we use often is, “you have to slow down to go fast”. What this really means is you have to prioritize so that you can demonstrate to yourselves and your customers that you can deliver. Once you’re able to do that then you’re able to increase your scope and throughput.
